This site was formerly Living Room, but before that, it was The Bike People. We have simply returned to our emphasis on bicycling in the city in the context of cultural, social, and environmental sustainability. All our former content is still available through the article indexes on the left.

Credits
Many of you out there have contributed articles to Bicycle Fixation/Living Room/BikePeople in its various incarnations, and each article ends with a byline and, if you have permitted it, an email link. But there is a small core of haggard zealots who keep the whole thing going, so here we'd like to take a moment and credit ourselves:
Richard Risemberg
Editor/publisher, contributing writer, photographer, web designer & coder, and incipient product designer.

Gina Morey
Photographer, graphic artist, graphic designer, wise advisor.

About This Site
Your editor typed this site on an Apple 12" iBook, using an excellent text editor called Smultron, and using pure CSS for layout. It will look its best on Safari for those of you who own Macs, or FireFox for everything else. Unfortunately, no version of Internet Explorer is fully standards-compliant yet (2006), so please try FireFox if you have a Windows PC.
